Alex and Ethan are visiting a friend in Detroit, so there is no trick o treating for me tonight. I thought it would be a good thing, but this is the first time in 15 years that I haven't taken a kid (or 3) trick or treating. It just feels strange.
Today Christian just bummed around and did a whole lot of nothing. We did go to a going away party at the club house, so I guess that is something. A woman that we run into pretty often there is moving. Her husband lost his job, so they are headed back to Utah, where they own a house and have family. It was a nice party... lots of food, lots of people.
We don't get trick or treaters here (end of a cul-de-sac that is on the edge of a sub that is known for awesome candy. No one bothers to come this far) so I think I am going to go take a bubble bath and then watch a scary movie.
Tomorrow I drive to Flint to pick A & E up. I am sure they will have a bunch of stories to tell!
